Meet Finn - another of my incredible Brand Ambassadors for 2021.
You might actually recognise her off of the 'gram on other images... this is my second shoot with the incredible woman and the first as a Brand Ambassador. Finn's confidence and bubbly personality is one of the most infectious I have ever known.
More images shot on my beautiful 35mm - yes, I can't shut up about it hahaha I really can't get enough of that lens. It really does not come off of that d750. I don't think it has since I purchased it.

I'd like to make a mention of Finn's wardrobe.
Both items were purchased from City Chic - which was a clothing brand set up by curvy women, for curvy women. The clothing is absolutely incredible and they do everything from evening gowns to everyday underwear. You can see by the pictures with Finn that the dress and bodysuit have so much detail and love put into them.
Another site that is great for women of all sizes is.... Savage Fenty. Rhianna's brand, Savage Fenty, is full of colour and the staple black lingerie. The pieces are different to the standard body suits and sets, and she also supplies a lot of body stocking options which look absolutely hot! I purchased a corset skirt through the site and love the fact that the clothing is of such a high quality and great fabrics.

“If you’re one of those people who has that little voice in the back of her mind saying, ‘Maybe I could do [fill in the blank],’ don’t tell it to be quiet. Give it a little room to grow, and try to find an environment it can grow in.” – Reese Witherspoon

Attempting to do anything you haven't done before is always uncomfortable, and usually scary, but it is ALWAYS worth it. Fear disappears in the midst of action, and a better version of yourself awaits you on the other side of your fear. Feel the fear, and do it anyway.

It can be a massive decision to finally say yes to doing a boudoir photoshoot.
But it is totally worth it in the long run. I often talk with women that feel like they aren't the "perfect" body or size to get in-front of the camera. But that's a load of poppy-cock that society has pushed on us over time. We all never feel like we are enough - that our bodies aren't "good enough". Truth is, what we think of our bodies and how we view them, is totally in our own control.
Meeting with a client recently, she said something and I thought I'd bring it up on here. She said that part of what attracted her to my work was that I showed more plus size women on my page. This showed her I was used to working with larger women and knew what to do in regards to posing.
For starters, the only thing that changes what posing I use with a client or model is their level of flexibility 🙂 99.99 % of poses, I do with everyone ❤
I also want to have a talk about the term "plus size". General plus size can be from size 10. A models plus size is anything over a size 6. If we think on that, EVERY woman you probably see modeling or in public is plus size. @zoephilipsxxo is probably the only model I've worked with that wouldn't be under this broad term. Its why I generally don't use that phrase when meeting people.
There are a hell of a lot of women out there that can work their curves, own their curves, love their curves. Feel happy in their bodies and how they look. No matter what size ❤ That's why boudoir photography is so great. We can see how hot we can look... when we stop focusing on our body size and shape.
EVERY BODY IS A BOUDOIR BODY AND EVERY BODY IS ENOUGH
