So do you want to spice up your session just a tad more and are looking for ideas?

I'll cover a few in this blog but I won't go into everything. For the individual, sometimes there's an object that specifically speaks to them, or showcases their personality more. There's many things you could incorporate - even turning the photoshoot into a themed session!

Example, the champagne shower showcased below with the wonderful Bonita Dangerdoll modeling. The bubbly was a good idea for her, as she's a prominent figure in the Burlesque community. The bottle featured in the cover image of this blog is actually a bottle of what they sell at the Lush Club in Christchurch.

BE PREPARED FOR MAJOR HOTNESS WHEN YOU KEEP SCROLLING

sometimes, you just want to appeal to your feminine side...

Flowers can be a great way to capture this. Roses are sensual are great to use for partner or Valentines specific shoots. They can be used to highlight your curves in sensual ways - e.g shots of the flower being softly run down your body or across your chest. Simply touching a flower can look pretty erotic with the right intent!

Below are even more options...

Balloons can be an excellent addition to a session to commemorate a milestone birthday... add cake and wine and you've really got a party! There's lots of props and ideas for birthdays; it completely depends on you and what your favourite thing about your birthday is. Whether your favourite memory is of opening presents as a kid, or blowing out the candles. Could even run away to the outdoors and use nature as the background and the ferns as your prop ❤

Now, I'll try keep these next two brief because I've been really plugging Bridal Boudoir and am still in absolute love with the food sessions (borderline obsession with food as props).

Food is honestly great for any occasion. I know there's a lot of curvier babes out there that feel like they'd look silly with food, but please don't feel way if you do. I've worked with women size 16-18 on boudoir food shoots before and they looked hot as fuck!

The classic veil....

Just a bit of fabric can mean so much.

If it's the veil you're using with the dress on the day. it's going to be incredibly special. Add in the fact that they are all moderately sheer... well... that adds some mystery and exclusiveness.

The last image I'll show in this blog will also be something relatively innocent.

Masks. Want some anonymity? Add some mystery and some sexy?

A quote seems appropriate here....

"She is like a cat in the dark, and then she is the darkness. She rules her life like a fine skylark and when the sky is starless. All your life you’ve never seen a woman taken by the wind. Would you stay if she promised you heaven? Will you ever win?" — Stevie Nicks

Ultimately,

There is nothing limiting your imagination. You can use something as simple as your partners favourite sport's teams shirt, right through to a whip, handcuffs or bars. In this post I felt best just to keep it fairly innocent to prove that props don't have to be "sexual" items to help you find your sexy.

If you have an prop ideas you would like to talk about, feel free to flick me a message!
